Mount Pleasant Police Department is asking motorists to strongly not venture out into the storm.
Officials stated that traffic lights are out and debris is over some roadways.
WHAT TO DO IF TRAFFIC SIGNALS ARE NOT OPERATING:
No signal lights
Lights should be treated as a four-way stop
Flashing red
Lights should be treated as a stop sign
Flashing yellow
Drivers should proceed with caution only when traffic permits
