Williamsburg County school security officer under investigation for assaulting five girls

WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) — A Williamsburg County school security officer is under investigation for assaulting five girls at a Salters school.

The Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office responded to D.P. Cooper Charter School in reference to assault allegations on December 6, according to Investigator Alex Edwards.

Investigators say the security officer is accused of exposing his private parts to one of the female students, and another student reported that he kissed her “facial area”.

The security officer is currently on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.

The person’s name has not been released.
