GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCBD) – People in the City of Goose Creek on Tuesday cast their vote to fill a vacant seat on city council.
Christopher Harmon won the special election after earning about 57% of the vote, defeating three other candidates.
The seat was vacated when Brandon Cox won a seat on Berkeley County Council and resigned from his seat last fall. The remainder of his term lasts until 2020.
Those voted will be certified by Berkeley County on Thursday.
