Severe weather forces reschedule of high school football games

CHARLESTON, SC (WCBD) – Several high school football games scheduled for Friday night being rescheduled due to the threat of heavy rain and strong thunderstorms.

Storm Team 2 meteorologists say a potent storm system which moved out of the Gulf early Thursday will bring a risk of a strong to severe thunderstorms to the Lowcountry most of the day Friday.

The following games were scheduled to play Friday, but will instead go head-to-head tonight (Thursday).

  • Ashley Ridge at R.B. Stall – will play at 7:30pm Thursday.
  • Academic Magnet at Georgetown – will play at 7:30pm Thursday.
  • Charleston Charter at Military Magnet – will play at 7:30pm Thursday.
  • Andrews at Hannah-Pamplico – will play at 7:00pm Thursday.
  • Bishop England at Manning High School – will play at 7:30pm Thursday.
