Gov. McMaster signs Open Carry with Training Act in Greenville

GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – Governor Henry McMaster, Lieutenant Governor Pamela Evette and members of the South Carolina General Assembly participated in a ceremonial bill signing for the Open Carry with Training Act Friday morning.

Open Carry with Training Act goes into effect on August 15.

According to South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, valid CWP holders can carry handguns openly or concealed in accordance with South Carolina law.
