SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) – Residents and the Summerville Police Department came together for a community event on Saturday.
The Summerville Dignity Project was an effort to open communication between the police and the community.
There were fun activities for everyone including an ice cream truck, games, prizes, and refreshments.
The plan for the Summerville community is to hold more events like the Dignity Project in the future.
