From Storm Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Rob Fowler

A cold front approaches on Friday, with a higher than normal threat of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the upper 80’s due to clouds and rain. The rain threat should taper off on Friday evening.

More sunshine, lower rain chances, and drier air are all on the way for the weekend. It won’t be as hot with highs in the mid 80s and morning lows in the 60s to low 70s.
