Hurricane Central

Florence continues to impact the Carolina’s, causing heavy winds and rain in some parts of our state, but today, many tried to return to business as usual in Downtown Charleston.

People were out and about on the Peninsula, work out enthusiasts back to the grind along the battery, parents with their kids at Waterfront Park, but a slower pace on King Street. Hom opened with a limited menu.

With many staff members evacuated, the small team doing the best they can to make money, and serve Charleston.

Some retail shops opened back up, but many stores still boarded up.

Some good news, the Market re-opens tomorrow and the City resumes normal operations on Monday.

If you left your car in a city garage during the storm, you’re asked to get it by Monday night by 11:30pm.
