Flooding continues across parts of the Lowcountry

Hurricane Central

Heavy rain from Florence continues to produce flooding across the Carolinas this morning.

“More than 10″ of rain has fallen across parts of Georgetown and Williamsburg counties this weekend and more is expected today,” said Storm Team 2 Meteorologist Josh Marthers. “Although much of the Lowcountry was spared the worst of Florence, parts of the area weren’t so lucky.”

Storm Team 2 is forecasting scattered thunderstorms to continue today with pockets of localized flooding and isolated severe thunderstorms possible.
