Florence to make landfall in North Carolina tonight, Flooding likely in South Carolina this weekend

Hurricane Florence is set to make landfall in North Carolina late tonight and then drift slowly southwest toward South Carolina through the day Friday.

Devastating storm surge will spread across the North Carolina coast today through Friday with significant flooding rain expected as well.

Flooding rain will spread across parts of South Carolina through the weekend with some areas seeing more than a foot of rain.

Tropical storm force winds will be likely across parts of the Lowcountry over the weekend, as well.
